ANIMAFILM School- Your first step into the stop-motion world! Masterclass with Ayan Novruz

This event is available as QR tickets or as physical tickets sold at city box offices. QR tickets will be activated on the day of the event. To use your QR tickets, you need to log into your personal account in the iTicket.AZ mobile application.

Join Ayan Novruz for a day in this hands-on stop motion workshop, where participants will sculpt fully poseable clay figures from the inside out. The session begins with story-driven prompts that explore each character’s hidden desires, flaws, and motivations, then moves into translating those inner worlds into texture, silhouette, and gesture.

Ayan will guide participants through building simple yet expressive wire armatures and puppets using affordable, accessible materials, proving that compelling storytelling doesn’t require a big budget, just attention to detail and creative drive. Whether they are wounded heroes, deceptive villains, or something in between, every creation will leave with a story to tell without saying a word.

About the 8th ANIMAFILM International Animation Festival

Since 2018, ANIMAFILM International Animation Festival has been a global platform celebrating the art of animation and creativity. Bringing together children, young people, and animation professionals, the festival offers both local and international experiences that inspire and connect.

This year, our theme is cats! Blending creativity with compassion, we’re donating a portion of ticket sales to support cats in need. Through animation, we continue to share values of love, kindness, and community.

Important Notes:
– Every ANIMAFILM ticket holder can play video games curated by Dynamic Box on the 5th, 6th, and 7th of September from 12:00–15:00 at Nizami Cinema Center.
 – Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of each event.
 – Seating is open, so feel free to sit wherever you like in the hall.
